Olin Bar & Kitchen

Recommend! Beautifully done bar & kitchen with comfortable seating. Visited in a weekend night with some friends and it was packed inside but service was quick and very friendly/attentive. Drinks were good and good choices in food items and small bites. Located in downtown, parking available throughout city and in lots near by. Business owner was present and helping/checking on guests/employees, very nice to see. Recommend a visit!

From the moment we were walking up, we knocked that Olin is VERY customer service forward. Doors held open, several of the staff greeting you as they walk by or you walk past them, very welcoming, and very genuine. I was going to order a cocktails that I was unsure about one of the ingredients, and they brought me a sample of the ingredient to try! For our first visit, we decided to appetizer hop. So we got 3 appetizers. Charcuterie board, escargot, and the burrata. All were beautifully presented, with flavor combination (see photos) Our server was incredibly professional, friendly, humorous and sincere. We had ordered oysters, but she promptly let us know that they were sold out. Would we return? Hell yes. Would we bring friends? Hell yes. Do we recommend Olin? Hell yes.

Our dinner at Olin was our first visit this week prior to Pink in concert at Comerica Park (close proximity- walking distance). Lovely restaurant with a grape vibe. Morgan was our waitress and she was absolutely outstanding. On top of everything and very fun. The food options were very unique and delicious. The special day drink, "Let's get this party started" was very good. How fun!🩷

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The charcuterie board was absolutely wonderful, offering a delightful variety of flavors. My only suggestion would be to include a bit more sourdough bread to complement the selection. The short rib hamburger was one of the best I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. I highly recommend trying it. The spicy shrimp fettuccine was another standout dish. The heat was just right, providing a lingering and enjoyable spiciness that enhanced the overall flavor. For dessert, I opted for the flourless chocolate, which was incredibly delicious. However, I found the edges and top to be slightly dry. Nevertheless, the rich taste made up for it. One minor setback occurred when another server accidentally spilled a portion of my cider while opening it with one hand. Although they didn't offer to replace what was spilled, it was a small mishap in an otherwise pleasant dining experience. I must commend our server, Chelsea, who provided exceptional service throughout our meal. Despite having more tables than usual, she consistently checked on us, ensuring we had a great time. Her attentiveness added to the overall positive experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its delectable dishes, attentive service, and enjoyable ambiance.

Read an article about the burgers here, and they did not disappoint! Great flavor, cooked to perfection, one of the best burgers I've ever had. Add in a mountain of fries, and you are set. Service was outstanding. Wish I remembered our server's name, but she was fantastic. Attentive and very personable. Also had the mussels for appetizer and they were very good as well. Highly recommended!
